@CatholicRelief Voices of children and adults with lived experience in residential care is extremely valuable in informing the planning of programs . Their voices are key in preventing family separation because they give first hand experience of the pain of separation @CatholicRelief@childsi
@CatholicRelief In the first place , we need to ensure that children are not separated from families. Deliberate efforts should ensure that the factors putting children at risk of separation are addressed eg through strengthening household livelihoods and parenting @CatholicRelief@childsi
@CatholicRelief Children who have lost one or both parents need to be embraced and supported by our communities. Stakeholders engaged in the delivery of various services should work to ensure that their basic needs are met. @CatholicRelief@childsi#BetterCareforKids
