Eiiiii experiencing gridlock is another level of trauma.

The Authority regrets to bring it to the attention of the public that from around 2030 hrs yesterday, congestion developed along the Nakuru - Nairobi Highway. This was worsened by lane indiscipline, which resulted in a traffic gridlock that is currently being experienced between Naivasha and Kikopey.
The increase in traffic could also be attributed to a high number of motorists who travelled to attend yesterday’s NYS pass-out parade in Gilgil.
The Authority is working closely with the traffic police to help ease the situation, and normal traffic flow is expected to resume gradually through the course of the morning. Motorists are urged to observe lane discipline and avoid overlapping as it will make it impossible to ease the congestion.
Additionally, anyone intending to travel between Nairobi and Nakuru, consider using the following alternative routes:
1. Gilgil - Olkalou - Dundori - Lanet
2. ⁠Flyover - Njambini - Olkalou - Dundori - Lanet

Today the lawyers at Milimani made my day. Appearing before Hon Asiago in Milimani was a lady who was being sued for an unpaid debt. As a judgment debtor, she couldn't raise the amount. Apparently, she is a housemaid earning 5k and has a baby (she had the baby in court). The magistrate's hands were tied, and he explained to her that he only had one option in law, to send her to jail.
Something beautiful then happened. An advocate called Omuga interjected and offered to settle the JDs deretal amount, after him came another, and another... The magistrate also contributed.
In about 5 minutes, the Decree holder's advocate was MPESAd his money, the JD received the balance and case was closed.
My faith in humanity was restored.
