ALERT: FBI places a $10,000 bounty on an escaped prisoner who transferred himself $11 million from a victim's stolen Charles Schwab account he accessed on a contraband cellphone.
Arthur Cofield was serving an 11-year sentence for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft at a Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) in Jesup, Georgia.
While in the FCI, Cofield allegedly used a contraband cellphone, gained access to a victim's Charles Schwab investment account, and wired himself $11 million.
With the money, Cofield bought a $4 million mansion and 6,106 gold coins that he had transferred to Atlanta via private plane.
Cofield escaped the FCI on May 26th, and the FBI warns that he is armed and dangerous.
@kellytx2 It would seem preferable to get someone to either live with them or to visit each day or a few times a week to make dinner, prepare breakfast and lunch for next day, take out trash, do dishes, and check up on them. Also, MUCH less expensive.
@adamstatonsmith@uriahz It depends if you become a hiking family and they (and you) are physically and mentally ready for a long hike. If yes, then probably around age 16-18, if they SAY they do want to do this super long hike.
@adamstatonsmith Just go hiking with the kids for an hour or two and the dream of hiking the Pacific Coast Trail for months with two young kids will forever leave your mind.
@Chicago_History True, why is the Chicago Park District always turning off the water fountains? Working water fountains is a basic and they've been failing for years.
@SGTWipper1Each Some of the museums are free but require a timed pass, so be sure to get your passes and be there on time. You can use bike shares and ride around the mall, sit on Park benches and enjoy gardens. There's so much free stuff to do, your days can be jam-packed.
@SGTWipper1Each ALL of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution -- there are 17 museums and the zoo. It's all free as far as I know. You could split up so each can see what they want and then meet up outside. There's too much to see it all.
@wildfreakouts She could buy a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread and make a month of French toast for $8.48 and it won't have chemicals and sugar in it. How do people start buying junk like this?
