🟥 A Fairfax mom did the math on your school district — and the numbers are damning.
Stephanie Lundquist-Arora — Fairfax resident, author, and contributor to The Federalist and the Washington Examiner — just published a detailed breakdown of where FCPS actually spends your money.
Here's what she found:
🟥 The School Board got a $197 MILLION budget increase — then voted to cut 70 teaching positions anyway.
🟥 FCPS runs a 19-person environmental bureaucracy — energy managers, "Get2Green" coordinators, zero-waste staff, climate-action planners — costing taxpayers roughly $2.2 million a year in salaries alone.
🟥 Superintendent Michelle Reid's salary: $445,353. Her chief of staff: $306,154. Class sizes: going up.
🟥 Reading scores? Sliding.
In Lundquist-Arora's own words: "Increasing class sizes and cutting teaching positions while failing to eliminate programs that do not support academic achievement is a symptom of weak and obscenely irresponsible leadership."
The 12-member Fairfax County School Board — every seat Democrat-endorsed — had a choice. They chose the climate office over the classroom. They chose the coordinator over the teacher. They chose the bureaucracy over your child.
School Board Chair Sandy Anderson and her colleagues made this budget. They own these numbers.
This is what happens when one party runs every seat and nobody has to answer for it. The next time these School Board members face voters is November 2, 2027.
Share this with every Fairfax parent you know. They need to see where the money went. 👇

Eighty-two years ago, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. Among them were the Bedford Boys — 44 men from a small Virginia town of just 3,200 people. Nineteen were killed within the first nine minutes, without ever firing a shot, giving Bedford the highest per capita D-Day loss in the nation.
They gave up their tomorrows for our today. Never Forget the Bedford Boys and all Americans who gave their lives to liberate the world from tyranny and secure the freedoms we cherish as Americans 🇺🇸
🚨Boy, the @VA_GOP NEVER disappoints. Jeff Ryer, the Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) is an unmitigated disaster and so are the feckless SCC RINO's, combined, continue to act like big giant wussies.
It's unconscionable and unthinkable that the state's GOP party are such chicken shits. In the first 6 months of 2026 the VA Dems have placed themselves on such thin ice (generally speaking) and the @VA_GOP is going to help prop them up to avoid falling through. This is NOT how to approach 2027.
Candidates, you are largely on your own. Campaigns, I get you still have to play ball but don't acquiesce, and Committees, your eyes have been opened even wider, don't fall in-line, operate with a conscious and basic common sense.
👉 @KarenHamiltonVA "Today the majority of State Central Committee, which essentially acts as the elected board of directors for the Republican Party of Virginia, voted to remain neutral and abstain from taking a position on the 3 horrendous amendments that will be on your ballot this November:
-unlimited abortion
-undefined marriage
-immediate restoration of voting rights for all felons
HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD:
Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS.
Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes.
Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets.
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary],
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed],
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible]
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent]
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed].
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following.
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US
AND MY FAVORITE:
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments!
The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!
If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though.
Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so but it’s worth a try.
How many people can YOU send this to?
I went to Virginia Tech because it was a land-grant university that offered a strong, affordable technical education.
After growing up working on farms and construction sites, it felt like it was made for people like me.
So did the lunch pail.
@coachfostervt coached the Virginia Tech defense for 33 years. His players competed for the right to carry a beat-up coal miner's lunch pail each week.
It symbolizes blue-collar work ethic built into an object and became one of the most recognized traditions in college football.
In 2009, still coaching, he built the Lunch Pail Defense Foundation around the same idea, putting money behind kids in Southwest Virginia from families where college isn't the assumed path.
Since then the foundation has distributed more than a million dollars. Bud hasn't taken a cent, and the board are all volunteers.
Every dollar goes out the door into direct support for Southwest Virginia families.
Scholarships for Virginia Tech students, community college tuition for high school grads, healthcare for uninsured families, and direct support for families dealing with childhood cancer.
If you care about Southwest Virginia, please help me get the word out about the Lunchpail Defense Foundation.
Watch the video I recorded with Coach Foster below. Share it if it lands.

This is what the lunch pail means off the field.
🚨 A Fairfax mother is dead. Her killer had been arrested 30+ times. Her mom testified to Congress on May 14.
Six days later, this is what your Virginia Democrat delegation was working on:
A children's coloring book.
Specifically — Sen. Mark Warner, Sen. Tim Kaine, Rep. Don Beyer (VA-8), Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10), and Rep. James Walkinshaw (VA-11) signed a letter demanding the National Park Service put back a Junior Ranger booklet at Arlington House that calls Robert E. Lee a "slavery defender." Hard deadline: June 2.
Where were they on May 14, when Cheryl Minter sat in a hearing room and talked about her murdered daughter Stephanie — stabbed at a Hybla Valley bus stop by an illegal immigrant Fairfax Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano (D) released over written police warnings?
Not there.
Beyer said he "very much hopes" Descano did nothing wrong. Subramanyam said nothing. Walkinshaw called the federal probe of Descano a "witch hunt."
While Fairfax pays $4.40 a gallon. While Iran attacks American service members every third day. While families bury daughters.
Beyer is worth an estimated $113 million. Warner is worth $214–$250 million. Walkinshaw, Suhas, Kaine... all political careerist elites. They don't feel the gas. They don't ride the bus where Stephanie died.
But they do have time for coloring books.
All five are on the ballot. November 3, 2026.

Five innocent people are dead in Virginia.
Among them a 13 year old girl. A 7 year old boy.
They were killed when a bus slammed into stopped traffic.
The driver was an immigrant from China who does not speak English.
Can't read road signs. Can't communicate with law enforcement.
New York State gave him a commercial license anyway.
Democrat-run states handing out CDLs to unqualified drivers need to be held accountable.
The federal government is now investigating New York's licensing records.
It's long overdue.
Praying for the victims and their families. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Spanberger, who previously declared Governors shouldn’t interfere with the governance of universities, just fired the most beloved Rector in Va Tech history, John Rocovich. The man who was the force behind recruiting James Franklin to save the football program, who has served twice before as Rector, who has given decades of his life to his beloved alma matter was fired without explanation. This is a shameful act to appease her leftwing base & proves once again she is Governor Bait & Switch.
Underrated life hacks:
- pray first thing every morning, last thing every night
- always keep an open notebook and pen within sight
- halve the amount time you allot yourself to read books & do your work
- extend your vision out by 5-10 years, then reverse engineer to present
- every time you catch yourself worrying, immediately surrender it to God
- never stop learning, ever, no matter what
- recognize no one is stopping you more than yourself
Remember the guy who wouldn't take the flag pole down on his Virginia property awhile back? You might remember the news story several months ago about a crotchety old man in Virginia who defied his local Homeowners Association and refused to take down the flag pole on his property along with the large American flag he flew on it.
Now we learn who that old man was. On June 15, 1919, Van T. Barfoot was born in Edinburg, Texas . That probably didn't make news back then.
But twenty five years later, on May 23, 1944, near Cyrano, Italy, That same Van T. Barfoot, who had in 1940 enlisted in the U.S. Army, set out alone to flank German machine gun positions from which gunfire was raining down on his fellow soldiers. His advance took him through a minefield but having done so, he proceeded to single-handedly take out three enemy machine gun positions, returning with 17 prisoners of war.
And if that weren’t enough for a day's work, he later took on and destroyed three German tanks sent to retake the machine gun positions.
That probably didn’t make much news either, given the scope of the war, but it did earn Van T. Barfoot, who retired as a Colonel after also serving In Korea and Vietnam , a well deserved Congressional Medal of Honor.
What did make news was his Neighborhood Association's quibble with how the 90-year-old Veteran chose to fly the American flag outside his suburban Virginia home. Seems the HOA rules said it was OK to fly a flag on a house-mounted bracket, but, for decorum, items such as Barfoot's 21-foot flagpole were "unsuitable."
Van Barfoot had been denied a permit for the pole, but erected it anyway and was facing Court action unless he agreed to take it down.
Then the HOA story made national TV, and the Neighborhood Association rethought its position and agreed to indulge this
aging hero who dwelt among them.
"In the time I have left", he said to the Associated Press, "I plan to continue to fly the American flag without interference."
As well he should. And if any of his neighbors had taken a notion to contest him further, they might have done well to read his Medal of Honor citation first. Seems it Indicates Mr. Van Barfoot wasn't particularly good at backing down.
If you've read this post and don't share it, - Guess what -You need your butt kicked. I share this with you because I don't want MY butt kicked anymore and I'm tired of seeing those who hate our country yet march in our streets, tear down our statues, burn our stores and loot our businesses have a free hand to do whatever they want.
WE ONLY LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE! AND, BECAUSE OF BRAVE OLD MEN LIKE VAN BARFOOT!
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
~ Isaiah 6:8
This Memorial Day, we Americans remember the brave men and women who answered that same call. I wore this scripture on a chain around my neck for 20 years.
They heard the voice of duty — of God and country — and said, “Send me.” They left homes, families, and futures behind to defend liberty on distant battlefields.
Some never returned. Their sacrifice was total. Their “Here am I” became eternal.
Today we honor their courage, their faith, and the freedom they secured for us. We owe them a debt we can never fully repay — only remember and live worthy of.
To every Gold Star family, every veteran who carried the weight: Thank you.
May we never forget those who said “Send me”… and meant it with their lives.🙏✝️
Goodnight, ya’ll.
Here’s the deal: Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas and all their friends knowingly violated the Virginia Constitution.
They purposefully violated clear constitutional procedures to deceive voters, capping off their master deception with ballot language meant to confuse everyone.
They strongly argued for the VA Supreme Court to “wait” until after the referendum so their flood of money from national democrats could fund their brazen dishonesty and trick voters to “restore fairness”, and then claim “the will of the people” when the VA Supreme Court would undoubtedly strike down their unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Virginians.
It’s a disgusting disregard for Virginians, the Constitution and a flagrant violation of their oath of office.
Big news: the Virginia Supreme Court has struck down the Virginia Democrat flipping of the congressional delegation from 6-5 Dems to 10-1 Dems ruling it violates the Virginia constitution. https://t.co/MClXTmc7uS
HOLY COW
HOLY COW
OH MY GOSH!
In a 4-3 decision, the Virginia Supreme Court ruled that the legislature violated procedural rules to put the redistricting referendum on the ballot.
The election results are thrown out!
This is a political earthquake!
Victory.
