Scotland’s return to the World Cup is a huge moment for the country. 🏴
But there’s also a fascinating story behind why Scotland is there at all.

@DarrellWakelam What a stunning jewel of a thing. I reckon the old King himself would have been pretty pleased with that! The creativity you help kids to achieve is absolutely wonderful.
@CarlBovisNature@SimonForrest11 Hello Carl, I see quite a lot of your photos but perhaps not all. Sometimes they come up in the “for you” timeline but not in the main one. I always “like” them when I see them. They have such a cheery feel good factor about them, thanks for sharing them all with us.
@BGallagherColl Hi Brian are you on any other platforms? Asking for someone who’s not on X but is very keen to follow the Bingham’s bird dramas and see if the “bad article” gets any come uppance.
@BGallagherColl Feel sorry for the Canada geese and their diminished brood who’ve been run out of town by the gangster. Hope the 3 goslings they have left make it.
I create my botanical photos using recent research so that looking at them alleviates anxiety & lifts mood & twice a yr I list frameable card sets & prints on Etsy. I haven't been able to work much recently due to depression so buying cards or a print from me would honestly help masses.Pls RT,ty🌿https://t.co/iRLlvlW7Qv
@SkySports can you explain why you often show the same sports event on 2 channels eg Darts at the moment when there are multiple competitions in other sports eg tennis that are only on one channel with commentary and all other matches are on the red button with no commentary.
Hi @EDCouncil I see you plan to close Craigmaddie Rd for 2 weeks and say that an alt route is Auchenhowie Rd. But you have signs out saying Auchenhowie Rd is subject to restrictions for 2 weeks starting today which overlaps the Craigmaddie works by a week. Not a good idea??
@CollingsBerry@UndisScot That’s lovely. I must have driven past this many times en route to Orkney and never even knew it was there! I wonder how often it is used.
@CarlBovisNature I think you need to be careful with Lindt as their truffles and filled bars are likely to contain Palm oil now. I believe they are using it to keep prices down. As far as I know Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate is all free of Palm oil and readily available.
