Another calendar from the excellent J & J. W. Longbottom, with beautiful photographs of England. Thank you @LongbottomFndry! And your guttering, downpipes and hoppers are doing a grand job keeping our house dry in this rainy weather. 🌧️🌧️😁😁
St Paul’s: Where shall we put the tree this year, Dr Johnson?
Statue of Dr Johnson: I am far too witty and important to be bothered with such petty trifles! Stick it anywhere.

@RoyalMail 1. WHY are my parcels getting lost? 2. Why is Tracking deactivated? 3. And why is it currently impossible to send a message to @RoyalMailHelp via X?
The Trustees of the Twickenham Museum are looking for volunteers to help. They are open on a Friday and Saturday 11-3pm and Sunday 2-4pm. Shifts are just 2 hours. It is a wonderful museum which has just received a redisplay to the first floor. The beautiful building in which it is contained is early Georgian (c. 1720) and has quirky features such as a slightly sloping floor and beams- lots of character.
A great little Museum which covers Twickenham, Teddington, Whitton and the Hamptons.
Please help them if you can.
