If you listen to Fauci's opening statement in today's Senate hearing you will hear him state that Rand Paul released his (Fauci's) diary. I'd say that puts to rest any speculation that "the last thing he would do is keep a diary." Not only did he keep a diary, he kept it on a computer issued to him by his employer, the federal government.

Fauci probably kept a diary to chronicle his grandiose narrative of himself as superior, cunning, or destined. This is typical narcissistic behavior. His diary was his way of privately demonstrating to himself how clever he was and how he thought he had outsmarted the public, especially his critics. And he very likely thought Rand Paul would never see it.

I figured Easter given that the little girl was wearing both a hat and gloves. Little girls wore hats to church every Sunday, particularly in the RC church. But gloves were usually reserved for special occasions, such as Easter.
