Senator Hawley to Fauci, “you’ve lied to the American people … And you have disgraced your profession by doing it.
"You called yourself the most famous scientist in the world. You have done more to harm science than anybody in my lifetime.”
Amen!
After 5hrs of deliberation, jury finds for acc'd student in @RiceUniversity Title IX trial.
Finds against Rice on all three counts (erroneous outcome, selective enforcement, & archaic assumptions).
Awards student $1.32M, highest jury award in federal acc'd student TIX trial.
Perhaps a sign of changing times:
The Bills addressed a TIX allegation against their first-round pick this year very differently than the (ultimately unfounded) allegation against Matt Araiza (who they cut almost immediately after the claim became public) in 2022.

Brought my dad to work today.
A retired union painter, all he did was stare at my degrees 😊
Degrees that wouldn’t be possible without his emphasis on prioritizing education and working to afford the schools I attended.
Thank you, Dad😊
i’ll never understand why vogue deleted this video. it was one of the most fun thing they’ve put out in years 😭 and featuring all the hf models (imaan, paloma, jordan, yasmin, aweng etc) AND bad bunny in the likes of versace, diesel, chanel, blumarine. let the models have fun!!
To be clear, what the @DOGE team and @USTreasury have jointly agreed makes sense is the following:
- Require that all outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code, which is necessary in order to pass financial audits. This is frequently left blank, making audits almost impossible.
- All payments must also include a rationale for the payment in the comment field, which is currently left blank. Importantly, we are not yet applying ANY judgment to this rationale, but simply requiring that SOME attempt be made to explain the payment more than NOTHING!
- The DO-NOT-PAY list of entities known to be fraudulent or people who are dead or are probable fronts for terrorist organizations or do not match Congressional appropriations must actually be implemented and not ignored. Also, it can currently take up to a year to get on this list, which is far too long. This list should be updated at least weekly, if not daily.
The above super obvious and necessary changes are being implemented by existing, long-time career government employees, not anyone from @DOGE. It is ridiculous that these changes didn’t exist already!
Yesterday, I was told that there are currently over $100B/year of entitlements payments to individuals with no SSN or even a temporary ID number. If accurate, this is extremely suspicious.
When I asked if anyone at Treasury had a rough guess for what percentage of that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about half, so $50B/year or $1B/week!!
This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately.
🚨 This is the biggest scandal in news media history:
No employee at Politico got paid yesterday. First time ever the company missed a pay period. This is a crisis.
Now we learn Politico — a “news company” — which spent the last 10 years trying to destroy the MAGA Movement was being massively funded by USAID.
Trump & Elon deleted their funding.
Now Politico will go out of business.
The corruption is endless.
Good riddance

Holy shlit. Crystal Mangum just admitted after 18 years that she made up the r*pe allegation against the 3 Duke Lacrosse players.
She deserves life in prison.
More than 18 years after the Duke lacrosse allegations, Crystal Mangum admits that she made it all up.
"I testified falsely against [the lacrosse players] by saying that they raped me when they didn't...I made up a story that wasn't true...I hope that they can forgive me."
