The problem with the biopsychosocial model is that the believers drop *bio* altogether.

Long Covid is a biomedical disease. Adjunct treatments like brain retraining are not *cures* for biomedical problems.

This is irresponsible and harmful to all patients.

After the most heroic fight to return to the cats she loved so much, the world lost a bright and compassionate soul, known to thousands as the heart behind the beloved @catswithnohope.

Through her account, Tammy gave voice to the forgotten, the abandoned, the sick, and the overlooked cats that many others would have passed by. She saw hope where others saw none. With humor, honesty, fierce determination, and endless compassion, she built a community that celebrated second chances and mourned losses together. Every rescue, every update, every small victory reflected the depth of her love for animals and her belief that every life mattered.

At the center of Tammy’s world was her soul cat, Tweetybird. Their bond was the kind that transcends words—a partnership built on trust, comfort, and unconditional love. Tweety was more than a companion; Tweety was family, a source of strength, and a constant reminder of why Tammy devoted so much of herself to helping cats in need.

Those who followed catswithnohope knew Tammy not only through the cats she saved but through the kindness she shared. She taught people that hope is not something you find—it is something you create through action, perseverance, and love. Her work inspired countless others to rescue, foster, donate, and care.

Though her voice has fallen silent, her legacy remains in every cat she helped, every person she inspired, and every life she touched. The community she built stands as a testament to the difference one determined person can make.

We take comfort in imagining Tammy reunited with all those she loved so dearly, with Tweety never far from her side.

Rest peacefully, Tammy. The cats you saved, the people you inspired, and the love you gave so freely will never be forgotten.

Our heart and thoughts are with Nour as he navigates life without Tammy. We’d ask for all donations to be halted for now (due to the legalities) but above all we ask to light a light for Tammy and send all your love into the world for that beautiful soul and for her husband remaining.

In life, Tammy was very private and few knew the face behind so much love but with Nour’s permission, we share this photo so the world can finally see how beautiful she was, inside and out.
