@grantshapps can you get involved with the DVLA? Applied for my sons provisional licence in APRIL 2021. Documents required sent back months ago via recorded delivery. Still says ‘awaiting document to be returned’ been like that for months. Tried every Avenue to contact.

@racheljokelly @DVLAgovuk I’m not paying them again. Seems to be the option some are trying though. Had a car sat outside insured and taxed not being driven. Feel sorry for the 17 year olds this year who are keen to get learning.
