I have had breast cancer in ten places body, eleven times in liver, three times in lungs. Trying to raise £150,000 for “The Christie” research lymphoedema.

@Indefatigabl_ @Stickit2Stage4 I’m realistic & realize stage IV has no cure & actually there’s no cure for cancer period. She just shouldn’t tell ppl what to believe or not believe. I’ve known ppl who died of breast cancer in the breast, not mbc. So she needs to sit down. It’s insulting to us cancer patients

This is why I train - lifting weights has been shown to improve outcomes after cancer. In #breastcancer it reduces recurrence risk by 50%. No excuses. This is something you can take control of.

Sending you best wishes I have been on chemotherapy for 13 years now off/on I remember first one and it was a bit worrying Now not in the slightest Good advice given to me a/ buy thermometer and use it b/ drink 2 litre water day especially chemo day to help flush it through body

Just because something is anecdotal (ie liver resections) don’t dismiss it with certain cancer treatments Not everything can go into “cells” in a randomised double blind clinical trial 💊🔬🧬

Article below:Doctors/patients might understand term “chronic disease” differently. Term must be used sparingly/explained carefully in order create common level of communication based on a shared understanding which avoids awakening false hopes/fostering misleading expectations.
