@tombennett71 But in the 16 schools in my trust, without mutations and definitely not a fad, the TIP approach means our teachers change behaviour long term for many pupils who would otherwise slip through the net and all the while creating conducive learning environments for everyone.

@GinaBro26948606 @tombennett71 It really saddens me that such myths exist. If you are a trauma informed practitioner you will know misbehaviour does not indicate trauma and you will value the importance of rules, routines and consequences especially for those who are disadvantaged.

@tombennett71 So purely experiential evidence then? It feels to me like you may be experiencing confirmation bias, perhaps you should speak to practitioners who haven’t created mutations of trauma informed practice and try visiting settings where it is making a big difference to all learners😊
