In a sentence: Iran is a nation held hostage by its own regime, but haunted by the fate of its neighbors. We are stuck in a house we hate, surrounded by fires we fear more."

A flop? Our ICU was cleared out from 230 patients with COVID to none. We were able to reopen the hospital to elective operations, and people were able to come and be screened for cancer, heart disease, and see their doctor. The vaccine was only a flop in that it used a new mechanism to teach the immune system, allowing con men to convince people that this was bad. Our flop was in scientific illiteracy and the inability to spot the hucksters who now occupy the HHS and CDC.
