1.5% expense ratio doesn't sound like much.

Here's what it costs over 30 years on Rs 10L at 12% return:

0.1% expense: Rs 2.81 Cr
0.5% expense: Rs 2.37 Cr
1.0% expense: Rs 1.93 Cr
1.5% expense: Rs 1.57 Cr
2.0% expense: Rs 1.28 Cr

The difference between 0.1% and 2.0% is Rs 1.53 CRORE.

On the same Rs 10L. Same market returns.

Just fees.
