Denied Identity, Denied Rights — A Call for Correction

Rajini Nayak, a woman from the Kandha Gouda Adivasi community in Daspalla, brings to light a pressing concern — several families are wrongly recorded as Tanla Gouda (OBC) instead of Kandha Gouda (ST).
This error has led to students being denied educational support, and families losing access to ST-specific welfare schemes.
We appeal to the authorities to:
✅ Urgently review and correct caste records
✅ Provide ST certificates to all eligible Kandha Gouda members
✅ Stop student dropouts caused by such misclassification
