Olympic Gold - Sustrans team make history on Saturday in Path-clearing Pentathlon.

PRIDE. Kevin, Martin, Andrew, Richard, Steve, Roger and Chris attacked the Himalayan Balsam on the Rawcliffe Path on June 1st, the day of the York Pride Festival. Rainbow colours were displayed by these tansy beetles we spotted, in an apparent show of support.

@sustransnorth Route 65 North of York now clear of some flood debris and the fallen fence on the riverside path towards Skelton. Thanks to Nick and Andy for their help. Further flood clear-up work to be undertaken once the river level resides..

POSTSCRIPT: Laura and I returned to the Copse today to plant some pre-Christmas garlic bulbs we had purloined from St Nick's along the edge of route 66. A scent to delight cyclists' senses, come next summer!
