@HindolSengupta Sustaining creativity requires spending ability of audience. AP, TN, TS are much ahead on that metric— and we know the economic/political reasons for that. Plus, near monopoly of production houses stifles even existing creativity.
As the RBI MPC meets for the October policy, macro risks have increased. This backdrop should keep the RBI cautious and focused on maintaining macro stability.

@TamalBandyo@RBI Regulation 7 (as referenced in the press release) mentions calling for a separate meeting to discuss and draft the report to be sent to the central government for failure to maintain the inflation target.
The RBI, even without any change in decisions, should use the April policy to shape expectations for an imminent turn in the policy cycle and providing adequate time for the markets to absorb any shocks.
