If for the sake of argument you accept that Donald Trump’s claim that the FCC has a duty to prevent the dissemination of false information over public airways is valid, it would mean that the FCC has a duty to block Donald Trump from appearing on your television or radio ever again.

@Bwalkercox @ConstitustionX @xformed Wrong. Midterms are state jurisdiction. CONGRESS has the ability to alter procedures but that seems unlikely with the current Congress. The President has no jurisdiction, even declaring martial law has no effect on elections.

When the man who investigated Trump firsthand — before Republicans refused to let us see and hear everything he found — says the danger is “greater than anything he has seen in his lifetime,” we should LISTEN.

Former Special Counsel Jack Smith didn’t mince words:

“I think we are facing an attack on the rule of law that is different in kind and scope to anything I’ve seen in my lifetime.”

This isn’t coming from a political commentator or a random pundit. It’s coming from the prosecutor who spent years examining the evidence against Trump, reviewing classified documents, interviewing witnesses, and seeing how power was used behind the scenes.

Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or independent, the rule of law is supposed to be the foundation of our democracy. It means NO ONE is above the law, no matter how wealthy, powerful, or politically connected they are.

And, ask yourself, what’s the harm in seeing the FACTS⁉️

If Trump didn’t do anything wrong, he shouldn’t have anything to worry about, right?

When someone with Jack Smith’s experience warns that the threat is unprecedented, it shouldn’t be dismissed because of politics.

It should prompt every American to ask what’s happening to the institutions that are supposed to protect our democracy.

Trump is dismantling decades of protections for America’s public lands so corporate interests can carve up what belongs to all of us.

It is environmental vandalism dressed up as policy.

These mountains, forests, deserts, rivers, and wildlife habitats are not Trump’s property to auction off to the highest bidder. They are part of our national inheritance, protected because some things are worth more than a quarterly profit.

And the corporations lining up to exploit this destruction deserve no anonymity. Name them. Expose them. Fight them in court. Make polluters and profiteers pay every dime legally recoverable for the damage they cause.

You can replace a politician. You can rebuild an economy.

You cannot resurrect an ecosystem once greed has destroyed it.

BREAKING: BETRAYING NATURE! Trump’s public lands sellout reaches Yosemite in STUNNINGLY CORRUPT private development scandal.

From his actions designed to put public lands in the hands of private developers, it’s plain to see that Donald Trump deserves to be called an anti-Yosemite.

For 150 years, the American government has protected Yosemite National Park as a birthright belonging to every citizen. It was in fact the 3rd National Park ever established, with sections of Yosemite Valley protected as a California state park as early as 1864 because of its spectacular natural beauty, including such famous landmarks as Half Dome, El Capitan, and its fabulous waterfalls.

Now the Trump administration is quietly working to give a piece of it away — to a private developer who's naturally donated to Trump's campaign and has business ties to two Trump officials.

The National Park Service has been under sustained pressure from Secretary Doug Burgum and Interior Department leadership to hand over a quarter-mile strip of Yosemite land to a company controlled by real estate developer Jeff Pori and his firm Kingsbarn Realty Capital. Pori wants to carve a new private road directly into the park to access an 83-acre property he purchased for $4 million, land that would otherwise require a winding 90-minute drive to reach popular park attractions.

This isn't a new idea — it's a zombie proposal courts already killed twice. The previous owner of the private parcel sued to build this exact road in 2007 and lost in district court, then lost again on appeal in 2012, with judges ruling flatly that federal law doesn't require the Park Service to grant new private roads when an existing access route already exists. Bush, Obama, and Biden administrations all said no. Trump's Interior Department is the first to say yes.

The timing is particularly suspicious. Pori's company recently closed a real estate deal involving Newmark Group, chaired by Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick until months before, and Hankey Capital, whose chair also personally underwrote Trump's $175 million bond during his New York fraud appeal. Pori himself started making regular donations to Trump's campaign and the Republican Party beginning in late 2024, with zero prior history of political giving. (Just out of the goodness of his heart, we suppose.)

Former Yosemite superintendent Cicely Muldoon put it bluntly: "Our basic purpose in the national parks is to preserve these places unimpaired for future generations, not letting go of that for the purpose of private profit." One person familiar with the negotiations was even blunter: "It kind of smells, you know. It's not quite right." It smells so bad that it rivals Trump’s dirty diapers in its stench.

California's Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff have both publicly opposed the deal, and it never even made the approved project list from the Senate committee overseeing the relevant conservation fund. Environmental groups are already preparing legal challenges.

Yosemite belongs to the American people, not to whoever's donated enough money to the right campaign. With Trump already destroying formerly pristine public lands by allowing fossil fuel and lumber interests to rape them and reap the profits, he must be stopped from doing the same to Yosemite.
