@lameregren @aegeanairlines It’s getting even more complicated. Surprised?? United just called me and said that they had one of our bags and they have no idea why. Great question, United! Two others arrived thru Lufthansa yesterday from two different airports. Still missing a fourth bag.

@ErkutGoktan @aegeanairlines Any updates, Erkut? We supposedly have bags in or headed to Frankfurt and at least on we know of in Munich. 6 days!
When the bags do arrive, we will have to spend a half day driving to/from SFO to get them! They won’t even deliver them to us!

So, 40 passengers board an @aegeanairlines flight on tiny Milos, headed to Athens. Passengers arrive and their luggage does not. 2 days later, Aegean/Olympic still can’t seem to locate bags? What gives? (1/2)

@ErkutGoktan @aegeanairlines Yeah, wondering what kind of meltdown must be going on. July 2nd was a mess in the ATH airport. There was one guy in the line who had been back 2 nights in a row hoping to get help. Another could track his own luggage which was in the room, but no one would help him release it!

The tracking portal has not changed in 24 hours. 2 of our 4 bags have been found. Friends’ baggage has personal trackers inside and it looks like they are in Athens now. But, no communication to them. Not sure why Aegean wants us to dm them—will we get better communication ?

@ErkutGoktan @aegeanairlines That’s correct! It’s absolutely inconceivable to me that passengers were not told explicitly that they’d be traveling, in many cases headed to destinations beyond Athens, without their luggage! (1/2)
