@CoachBalto@CoachBalto , I live in Phoenix. A motorist in the west Valley struck a group of cyclists this morning. One woman died at the scene. Another person died in the hospital, and 10 more are being treated in various valley hospitals. We have to do better.
For their victims and targets, driver violence is no different than gun violence: Lives ended or permanently altered, trauma of being senselessly attacked with a deadly weapon while going about your day.
Virtually no reporters cover it like this.
But it’s the exact same story.

The unspoken classism that schools & school districts perpetuate by prioritizing students who are driven versus students who walk, bike or take the bus is something we should be talking about more.

Restaurant. Shop. Arts organization. Planet. Relationship. etc

One issue is pedestrian/bikling deaths/injuries.

Indeed. What’s been lost in the advocacy to build more housing is that people are intent on taking up way more space than they used to. That is not progress.
