And since they lost the dragons Robert Baratheon was able to overthrow the Targaryen dynasty, the Dance of Dragons is about idiot powerhungry Targaryens having stupid infighting which removed their core reason for having so much power, which was Dragons. The point of the book is that neither side won, the only results that came of this whole war was the Targaryen dynasty being insanely crippled forever after. The Targaryen family lost bro lol
Yes, because Ryan Condal is definitely the author of the universe and not Martin, we don't know yet who the prince that was promised is lmao. And also keep in mind Martin ragequit HOTD and wrote a blog post about it last year saying quote on quote "This isn't my story any longer". So don't take HOTD as literal canon lol
Aaaah yes, because the Maesters just made up the youngest son of Aegon 2 called Maelor, and other important characters like Nettles, and made up that Aegon 3 and Viserys 2 are literal toddlers in the show compared to in the books, yes for sure! Definitely not Ryan Condal being a moron. And also keep in mind Martin himself made a blog post last year saying "this isn't my story any longer" explicitly to House of The Dragon LMAO
@RavenMentore@tehkyrkis it is completely toggle-able. You can turn off stamina bar, health bar and all that shit in settings so it looks identical to the original, ubisoft doing it this way keep both sides of the fanbase happy, so its literally just a win win situation, whats the issue loool
@kaisuda1012@TheRealZephryss You literally can though. They've already shown that you can just disable health bars, stamina bar etc in settings, so both people that want health bars and people that hate it can be happy, everyone wins
@theblackvault@warnerbros While I do agree no one will top Viggo's performance as Aragorn, they did ask Viggo first, but Viggo didn't want to play him as he thinks he is too old, so finding another actor to play Aragorn is inevitable in that case
Denethor in the books is way more grey than how he's depicted in the movies. He's actually a pretty good man, a good leader and he cares for both of his sons (still likes Boromir more just makes it less obvious). He held him and his people alone on his own from Mordor for over 30 years and broke at the end falling to despair. Do you honestly think Tolkien wrote this character to be a depiction of a corrupt leader only caring about himself, because you couldn't be more wrong lol. Denethor all in all is a good man falling to despair and hopelessness through the constant defeats by Sauron and the loss of his oldest son. In the books Denethor also willingly let them lit the beacons of Gondor unlike in the movies. Like at least try to understand what you're talking about before jumping to conclusions
Fair point actually, but difference is that RDR2 has high rating as well. And no one is wrong for having it as their favorite game of all time. Because the point I'm making is that there is no "best game of all time" because there's so many different genres that no gamer will like every genre no matter how good the games are
A top 10 list is just what someone think is their top 10. Imagine caring what a random top 10 list of something says, like why would anyone actually genuinely care. The newer pokemon games are dogshit, hasn't been good for years, same with Halo. Minecraft is still beloved by young and older people alike. "Hey you should play every known semi huge to huge gaming ip known to man before being allowed to make a top 10 games list". This list is just what the majority of gamers think, even if you don't like it, it still won't change it lol
It's as valid as you want it to be. A game selling over 75 million copies is by definition not bad, it has 97 on metacritic. RDR2 is an amazing game and no one is wrong for having it as their favorite game of all time. There aren't objectively a "worlds best game". If you enjoy your time on something then that game did it's job to that specific person. This is as obnoxious as a movie "expert" malding that someones favorite movie is LOTR Return of the King and not a niche movie made in black & white from the 20's by a random polish director where the movie is 4 hours long. Like c'mon
I'm not saying younger people won't play the older games. As you can see MGS and RE4 is on that top 10 list. It's just way less of newer gamers playing them compared to when they were new 20 ish years ago. Humans just naturally go for newer creations over older ones. Doesn't mean the older stuff is bad, it's just that less people will appreciate it over time. And of course this changes the "top 10 games of all time", because people won't rate games they haven't played, hence why you see mostly modern and newer games in a lot of "top 10 games of all time" lists
@SebastianS13308@PandaKingEX yes literally, you don't see many younger people nowadays have old school movies from the 70's in their top 10 favorite today as much as back in the actual 70's. Art evolves and people usually stick to the newer stuff just because it's easier to get their hands on
- Tariv Cloth Cloak you can buy from Tailor in Tariv, location is to the left of Hexe Sanctuary on the map by the river that goes upwards
- Grey Wolf Leather Armor you can buy from the tailor in Pailune Town after getting 100 trust with her
- Blackwing Leather Gloves, you can find at Sanctum of Penitence in a hidden treasure chest
- Don't know which boots exactly but Grey Wolf Leather Boots also works pretty good for this drip, also from the Tailor in Pailune
@DegradingBore@MitoGouken If you complete all the witch quests the witches rewards Kliff by reverting him back to look younger again. So if you want him to keep looking old, just don't complete the witch questlines
I mean...this is most fantasy depictions nowadays. Witcher is filled with hatred towards elves, hunting of dragons, vampires hated by everyone etc. And if we go by Elves in Tolkien's work it would be the other way, cause no way in hell humans could compete against the elves of middle earth. Even still, lots of people dream of living in a Witcher type world, yet it would suck real hard if you actually did live in that type of world. Also let's not forget that throughout most of time in middle earth, dwarves and elves hated each other. Racism in fantasy is actually fairly normal. Not saying it's good, but it is pretty normal
@JayJayWeb3@Grummz Who would have thought that a game that can run on a toaster for 23 bucks is played by more people on steam than a game for 70 bucks that needs a high end gaming pc for over 1500 bucks to run properly, damn
You right, I'm just explaining to the guy why he may have a shit time. This guy is like if you want Call of Duty then boot up Stalker then complain Stalker doesn't feel like Call of Duty. Clearly not the target audience for the game. Don't go into a beauty salon then complain there's no shoes for sale
Obviously I know there's a story in BOTW, just as there is a story in Crimson Desert. It may not be good, but it's a story nontheless. Are you gonna tell me deadass right now that you play BOTW for the story? Do you honestly boot up BOTW for the plot. Like who tf boots up Crimson Desert expecting a good story, the people that do are clearly not the target audience. And no, BOTW's story is completely bland compared to actual games that focus on story like RDR2, Witcher franchise, Baldurs Gate 3, TLOU 1&2, Cyberpunk, God Of War etc. And you know it, BOTW cannot stand against any other story focused game ever, because it's clearly not the focus of the game and that's fine
