 There is firework display debris falling onto interstate 40 just east of downtown Oklahoma City. It has caused a fire along interstate 40 and the Oklahoma river and there are burning embers and firework debris falling onto interstate 40

The smoke model continues to show some improvement in smoke through this afternoon. However, poor air quality and visibility will still be a concern.

Unfortunately, another round of thicker smoke is expected for tomorrow (Monday).

Severe weather is making a return to the plains the week. Look for each day having at least a slight risk for Svr storms from Texas to South Dakota. Thursday is the day with the possibility of having the greatest risk. Flooding will also be a concern across Tx.
