@F1RETHECANNON This was how I interpreted it. And I’m guessing Marchenko simply said “me too, I want to win or I’m not signing” and then the media does what the media does.
With his third assist tonight, Zach Werenski clinches a season of at least a point per game. He will be the third player in #CBJ history to do it twice (joining Nash and Panarin). He's on pace for the best P/GP average ever for a Blue Jacket.
#CBJ is 11-4-3 this season against the current top-7 teams in the NHL standings.
Colorado, Dallas, Carolina, Buffalo, Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh.
@spetershockey@Buccigross All behavior is based on incentives. If you’ve got good shootout players, there’s no incentive to try in OT. Until they implement the 5 point system, you’ll get this. Adding extra time/periods/players is irrelevant. RW=5 OTW=4, SW=3 SL=2 OTL=1 RL=0. Incentivize winning early.
@klawcity @TopDownHockey@JFreshHockey It’s such a weird season when the East (collectively) has a much higher point total that will be needed to make the playoffs, but has so many teams who still seem like they’re underperforming
@RavenSoftware It’s a cool concept. I loved Blackout. But until you massively nerf movement-as-a-skill (and in turn aim assist), you’re going to have a freakishly low player base of sweats, cheaters, and us who can’t quit you.
