SGA learned flopping from LeBron.
The NBA is a bad product when the face of the league is a flopper.
NBA viewership could rise again if Wemby becomes the face of the league.
Wemby’s toughness will be a great example for the next generation of the kids coming up.
@Shane00 Some of that is true but Context is important
Rookie contracts with Baby Thunder
Portland never had a chance
Not sold on Lowry being in the HOF
Jimmy is the most valid here, but everyone acknowledges the Heat had no business being in the finals
If it wasn’t for us sharing the truth it would never come out. The media wants Kobe’s legacy buried. But the truth is available if you want to know it.
Before Kobe hit his prime he was the clutch player for the Lakers. By 2001 he was equal with Shaq. The “he was the second best player on a championship team for 3 rings”, is CAP.
HE was the closer. HE was the clutch performer. HE was the juggernaut against the tougher competition like the Dynastic Spurs.
This series ended the Kobe vs Duncan debate. Getting gentlemen swept by your rival with a good team should be unacceptable but for Duncan it’s swept under the rug when comparing the two.
Kobe swept Duncan once and gentlemen swept him twice. Once was right here in front of everyone in 2008. No Shaq and his second option Gasol put up 13 PPG.
Kobe finished the series 29PPG on 53% shooting while playing excellent defense. This ended the debate I’m sorry.
@theUMiami305@bolaremyjr @8_24Mamba4Ever Wasnt why HE wanted to leave though, unlike LeBron and KD…. Kobe couldve asked to go to Philly to be with family for whatever reason. That would be his reason whether they were winning or not. The lakers losing wasn’t the motivating factor… I can’t explain that any simpler lol
@theUMiami305@bolaremyjr @8_24Mamba4Ever No. He said specifically that leaving ‘cause you losing ain’t what leaders do. The second clip is him
saying he needed to build his legacy without Shaq. The context around leaving is what you missing. But it’s irrelevant because HE NEVER LEFT 😂
@theUMiami305@bolaremyjr @8_24Mamba4Ever You defeating your own argument. Leaving because you’re losing and leaving because your contributions aren’t being valued as they should aren’t remotely the same
