Every new twist only deepens the suspicion that someone is desperate to derail scrutiny.

Ruchika Singh’s parents, particularly her mother, appear to be in an indecent haste to shut down the Delhi Police investigation the moment an apology video surfaces.

Why the sudden desperation if everything is above board?

Delhi Police must not be intimidated.

They have every right and obligation to establish the following:

Was Ruchika under 15, or did she conveniently turn 15 only days ago?

If she was still 14 while working at a salon, her own parents could be held liable for employing a child in violation of the law.

If she was a minor, every individual who recorded, circulated, and amplified her videos without parental consent could have exposed themselves to the provisions of the POCSO Act.

The law does not bend to political convenience.

If the girl seen at Jantar Mantar and the one in the apology video are not the same person, then the parents and the CJP activists who advanced this narrative have actively misled the police.

That is not activism; that is obstruction of justice.

The unanswered questions are multiplying, not disappearing.

Delhi Police and UP Police must be allowed to conduct a comprehensive, evidence-based investigation free from pressure by the parents or their activist handlers.

Truth never fears scrutiny.

Those desperate to bury the investigation clearly do.
