Due to mass leave taken by Supply Assistants, PDS distribution process of essential commodities has been disrupted in 20 districts of the State. Because of the suspension of this service, Beneficiaries are facing severe difficulties.
Despite having years of service and experience, the Supply Assistants are still working on a temporary basis and are being paid very low wages.
The State Government must hold immediate discussions with them and find a solution to their demands at the earliest to restore normal supply services.
