@izzybizzywizzy1@TheBHF Great photos and wonderfully honest article - I’m sure it will help others understand the complex emotions around having an ICD fitted, and the quite drastic lifestyle adjustment it can entail.
My first time giving #blood since having my son via emergency c-section. The lovely @NHSBT donor carer tells me that my blood is destined for the #neonatal care unit 💙 Could have cried. Absolutely made my day @GiveBloodNHS
My god. He tried his best to get an ambulance, repeatedly calling 999 to report mum was having trouble breathing. His final call is to tell the call-handler it was too late. This is appalling. My heart goes out to this poor family. She was 56. How could this happen?
Just finished listening to @DeborahFW Introduces @jessicafostekew (two of my absolute faves) on @BBCRadio4@BBCSounds - blimey that was a powerful punch between the eyes piece of radio.

@MissBarkerEng Oh yeah so when did your school receive their government-issue Perspex and partition screens? I didn’t hear that being announced on the news 🤔
@izzybizzywizzy1 @EmilyKhan11 Also agree about the flexibility - it absolutely shouldn’t be a case of making it compulsory to be in the office if you needed to WFH or on site etc., but offering some impetus around certain days would help to galvanise folk and regenerate that sense of energy and team.
@izzybizzywizzy1 @EmilyKhan11 I think “Team Tuesdays” (or Thursdays!) is exactly what’s needed - so many either prefer to WFH or have non-working days on Mondays/Fridays that they don’t seem like the best options. Is the concept of “fun Friday” now dead, perhaps in favour of “family Friday”?
