🇱🇰 Sri Lanka has emerged as the most positively viewed country in South Asia according to a new Pew Research Center study

📊 The survey covered public opinions in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka on how they view neighboring nations

👍 Sri Lanka was the only country to receive more favorable than unfavorable ratings from all three foreign publics surveyed

🌟 Around half or more respondents in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan held positive views of Sri Lanka, with a third or fewer expressing negative perceptions

📈 Favorability toward Sri Lanka among Indians rose by six percentage points since 2024, while positive views remained strong across the region

🇮🇳 Sri Lankans hold especially warm views of India, with 79% expressing a positive opinion and 63% naming it as their most important ally
