On 12 November, OSI made a visit to the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application at Kyoto University with Ambassador Viktoria Li, and met with top researchers who gave a tour and introduced the equipment and instruments used at the facility.

On 12 November the Swedish Ambassador to Japan, Viktoria Li, attended the Opening Ceremony for the newly constructed Bristol Myers Squibb Building which will serve as the hub for activities of the Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunology at Kyoto University.

On 22 October the OSI had the honor to visit a robotics lab and joining a symposium at the University of Tokyo. At the symposium researchers and students from KTH, one of the Stockholm Trio universities, and the University of Tokyo presented their latest research on robotics.
