@TheXortrox@JagexTwisted@JagexSupport Thanks for that video it was interesting. Its a shame we cant add any context to our appeals. I honestly doubt the options even matter. It seems like Jagex won't admit their mistakes and there is no reason for us to admit to something we didn't do. I refuse that out of principle.
@CueNoLife@JagexTwisted Hi @CueNoLife, I just wanted to tell you that it has been resolved. All 5 are now unbanned thanks to @JagexTyran
Still not sure what caused it and why their appeals were denied. But it shouldn't happen again (I hope).
@CueNoLife@JagexTwisted Hard to say why exactly they were banned. I put the GE offers up early December. Since then I only logged in weekly to prevent the offers from going inactive. Didn't even take the items out the GE.
It is possible Jagex did a query for mules which happened to match my 5 alts.
@CueNoLife@JagexTwisted Correct. Those 5 were indeed level 3s with the minimum requirements to trade. However, they were not recently created. I think I made them 2-3 years ago.
The other 5 were much older novelty accounts (e.g. melee-only, skiller, defence pure). Accounts with a history so to speak.
@JagexTwisted@CueNoLife Does logging in & repeating the same sequence on one account after another count in this context?
I performed the same actions on 10 accounts (log in, check GE, log out & repeat on next account) and 5 of those accounts are now banned. I didn't use any software for it.
@TheXortrox@JagexTwisted@JagexSupport Strangely they denied the appeals. Jagex claims to have evidence of something that never happened.
At worst my accounts looked suspicious. They were level 3s buying commonly botted items. The other accounts I did the exact same thing on are completely unaffected.
@JagexTwisted Thank you.
Just went to check in a F2P world and I see no spam whatsoever, even with an empty ignore list.
Almost shocking how quiet and peaceful it is.
@JagexTyran All of them.
Ultimately the root of the problem is RWT.
As long as people feel safe and comfortable enough to buy/sell gold. The sellers will do anything to get their hands on it.
Remove the RWT aspect and the cheating will be reduced by at least 90%. The only question is how.
@JagexKieren Instances are not needed. Jagex needs to get rid of the gold farmers and bots, which take a lot of worlds. Once those are gone there will be plenty of worlds available.
@JagexArcane The idea itself wasn't too bad, but it was a bit too much. To me it seemed more complicated and unbalanced than it needed to be.
Existing Slayer Masters could have the option to purchase a boss task. Be it randomized or a previously skipped one. With a weekly(?) cooldown.
@OldSchoolRS Why wasn't this polled? It has absolutely nothing to do with integrity.
If anything it goes against the integrity of the game by adding and moving content without the approval of the community through polls.
@ZydecRS@JagexArcane@OldSchoolRS Agreed, but some items have a ridiculously low buy limit that could be increased. Items that are used to alch usually have a 125 buy limit or lower.
Other items, such as raw skilling materials should be fine.
