FMGs are asking for something very simple: transparency and accountability in the examination system.

When 87% of candidates fail an exam, students deserve to see the question paper and official answer key. If video-based questions were introduced in a qualifying exam without informing candidates, students deserve answers.

We are paying for these exams. Asking for transparency is not a crime—it is the right of every student. You cannot play with the careers of 30,000+ aspirants and expect them to stay silent.

And honestly, it’s not just about FMGE. All exams conducted by NBE/NMC have the same issues, be it NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, DNB exams, or any other exam—zero transparency and accountability.

NBEMS MUST RESPOND — FMGE JUNE 2026

Today, representatives of AIMSA-FMSW and AFA are sitting outside the NBEMS office, seeking a clear and prompt response regarding the concerns raised over the FMGE June 2026 examination.

During the earlier meeting, NBEMS officials assured the delegates that a response would be provided within 24 hours. It has now been 48 hours, yet there is still no official response. Representatives are present at the office, but no official is currently willing to engage or provide an update.

Our concerns are clear:

• Poor and inadequate examination-centre facilities
• No prior information regarding the introduction of lengthy video-based questions
• Time-consuming video-based questions affecting the overall examination experience
• Sudden changes in the examination pattern
• Demand for transparency and accountability
• A fair review and appropriate compensation for affected FMGE June 2026 candidates

The protest at Jantar Mantar on August 3 was conducted to raise these genuine concerns. We have cooperated with the process and given NBEMS sufficient time to examine the matter.

Now, silence is not an acceptable response.

We respectfully demand that NBEMS officials immediately meet the representatives and provide a clear, written and transparent response.

FMGs are asking for neither favour nor exemption,we are asking for fairness, accountability and a level playing field.

NBEMS must take responsibility.

You asked for two weeks’ time to examine the concerns raised regarding the FMGE June 2026 examination including the errors, question pattern, and poor-quality examination centres. We, the FMGs, gave you that time.

During the meeting with delegates, NBEMS acknowledged that video-based questions (VBQs) were included and that FMGs were not informed in advance about this sudden change in the FMGE question pattern.

We are now demanding accountability for:

• Poor examination-centre facilities
• Sudden and undisclosed changes in the question pattern
• Time-consuming VBQs
• The overall impact these issues had on candidates’ performance

The time for review is over. It is now time for action.
NBEMS must take responsibility and provide appropriate compensatory marks to the affected FMGE June 2026 candidates.
