The PLI scheme for executives in PSBs is nothing else but just like what Britishers used to do in past. Pay some penny to few and ask them to torture others.
Now that protests are over few points
People need to stop with this: ‘Gen Z’ are some strange entity that world hasn’t known. All generations have been ‘gen z’ of their times. When you have no responsibilities and you are not a provider, that is when you are Gen Z. We have all been there. Emergency/JP movement was Gen Z of their time, Mandal was Gen Z of their time, Nirbhaya, IAC- all these movements are fueled by kids who have nothing to lose. Which is invariably students. There is nothing more courageous or extraordinary about this bunch. When Rajiv Goswami immolated himself in Delhi University, he was Gen Z of his time. That was courage in that era. When students filled jails in JP movement, that was courage in that era. If these movements have taught us anything, it is that protests succeed only in optics. Real change happens in corridors of parliament and govt offices. Slowly, surely and only when it becomes a ballot issue. I challenge CJP to make one aspect of education reform a ballot issue. - Quality of elementary education in govt schools, coaching mafia, reservations - just pick one and make it a ballot issue. Then we will talk about courage.
"Everything is not DS sir"
I keep getting this comment under my posts. The thing is I mostly talk about the DS hand when I see it. So the comment is like telling a cardiologist "everything is not about the heart" under his posts, because the patient already has kidney disease.
The cardiologist will acknowledge the kidney issue but say he will talk about the heart because that's what is going to cause major issues now and that's his specialty. This is my answer to everyone who posts that one liner seeded to dilute my warnings on the DS.
Imagine the country to be a complex system like the body. Yes the body's genetics will predetermine something like heart disease. The issue is systemic. Agreed.
But if someone then warns the fast food, tobacco, and drinks companies are making him sick and helping the healthcare industry, it would be silly to argue and say "why blame them and their products, he already has heart disease."
Why?
Because he may already have heart disease, but if he's influenced by the fast food, tobacco, and drinks companies, keeps doing as they say in their ads, it will worsen his own condition and accelerate "regime change" on the body - that's death (and rebirth if you believe it.)
A doctor will warn you about dangers of colds, flus and lab created covid if you have an immune condition. Yes, your ailment is already there. You already have an issue. But if you give them a chance, the viruses will hijack your system badly utilizing your issue and do a regime change on your body.
Understood?
Remember my analogies and tell your friends why talking about the DS is important. Tell them "yes a country has issues but you can't ignore the outside hand that's trying to hijack the issues, amplify our problems, and institute a regime change."

These lunatic religious fanatics signed the nuclear agreement with the US, accepted very intrusive IAEA inspections, handed over their enriched uranium to Russia and agreed to limit enrichment to 3.67%.
It is Trump who walked out of the JCPOA.
These lunatics did not walk out of the NPT as they could have, developed a secret nuclear capability and tested weapons and become a nuclear power like the other “lunatic”dictator of North Korea who now feels protected.
What kind of “lunacy” is this?
This has led to US/Israel military attacks on Iran twice and assassinating its top political and military leaders.

They have discovered a paper by Indian scientists that first explored the effects of Dhoop & Havan on air borne pathogens. A finding ridiculed by colonized Indians then. Now the west have their own paper inspired by Indian scientists, am sure, and soon we will have "Sammy's smoke method" to purify indoor air with chemical isolates from cow dung and frankincense (सांब्राणी). The "Greek Yoghurt is so much better than hung Desi dahi" Colonized Indian losers will buy and use it for $$$.
This might be hard for ARR to understand but here is what happened. When he came he was competing with Jatin-Lalit, Nadeem Shravan, Anu Malik etc. All of them hit composers in their own right but they composed music the old fashioned way. There were musical sittings where everyone from lyricist to singers to director sat in one room and music director on his harmonium belted one tune after another. When tune was decided, jumped in the arrangers. They decided on the musical interludes, all those little music pieces that decorate a song- a bit of Santoor here and a bit of sitar there. Orchestras did the rest. ARR understood programming on computers before these guys caught on, so composing was a solo act for him. He did what he wanted on his machines and did it extremely well. That is why you will hear singers after singing Rahman composition saying - ‘we were stunned when we heard the final song, we did not know we had done this’. This was Rahman magic and thus arrived new era in Hindi film industry- the Rahman era.
Cut to 20 years later- all young kids have access to computers and softwares and programming and you tube tutorials. They are learning and they are new age composers who know computer generated music better than most. Now Rahman faced competition. And as it always happens younger generation scores because they get the pulse of new generation. This is normal, this is expected, this is how cycle moves. I am sure Naushad must have felt the same when Shankar- Jaikishan introduced jazz elements and used western instruments to devastating effect. Then SJ felt the same when LP started doing 100 piece massive orchestras and LP felt the heat when RD showed how one small percussion beat at the right place can negate their thousand Dholaks. This is creative process. A journey. Life moves on. As I said before - you either perish, repackage or bow out. What you cannot do is claim Victimhood after that astronomical success. That is unfair and that is cheating.
10-minute delivery

Let me try to explain the attached post by Rohan in an easier way to those who may be interested. So, in India, philosophers and linguists have always discussed and debated about sound, words, and meaning.
We had this theory called Sphuta (from around Panini times / 2000 years ago) which argued that whole sentences gave rise to instant meanings in our head.
For example, "The cow standing there is white in color" instantly creates meaning in our mind of a white cow. Sphuta theory says we do not add the meaning of individual words to make sense.
For example, we are not first seeing a random cow, then seeing it standing, then making it white in color as we hear the sentence.
Now, this attached post by Rohan is referring to a work by the Vaishanavite saint Ramanuja (1000 years later / ago). Ramanuja argues that words have inherent, timeless meaning.
For example, we imagine words to be a social construct. That is, we think a group of people decided to call 'that grass eating animal with four legs of a particular form and giving us milk' as "cow." And then everyone from their community calls it a cow henceforth.
But Ramanuja says that's not true. Just like a wood fire gives rise to smoke, which nobody decided (it just occurs naturally), that milk giving animal is just called a "cow" and nobody decided it. He says the word relationship exists naturally without a beginning (at least it only begins with the beginning of your own consciousness).
You may think this is ridiculous. But if you take the word cow, it is actually a derivative of word Gau from Sanskrit. And some may say Gau comes from some Indo-European root word Go or something like that. But when did this word originate? Did a group of people sit down and decide that grazing animal is called Go?
Ramanuja's theory says, no, none decided. He says the first word (or sound) for that animal we call cow arose in our consciousness by itself and got agreed upon by everyone over time. It doesn't matter it got changed to cow or gau or gai or kho in various languages later. The relationship between the original word and the object always existed.
Why is Ramanuja's theory important? This solves for the "divine revelation" of Sanskrit and vedas. Since vedas are supposed to have been heard and not composed by humans, Ramanuja's theory explains how the words / sounds in vedas existed naturally before anyone invented or created them.
If you get what I have written above, you will also understand
- Why a vedic chant is important to be uttered exactly as heard and passed on for generations
- Why it is useless to write down the vedas (as the utterances and complex sounds are impossible to be represented by text)
- And why chanting a vedic mantra (like say Gayatri) can "reveal" the meaning of itself and a lot more about the universe to you
Bihar’s ancient heritage keeps resurfacing through recent discoveries:
• Buddha idols from Nalanda, Gaya and Vaishali (1,200–2,000 years old)
• 1,500-year-old Ganesha idol from Nagarjuni Hills
• Vishnu and Surya idols from Lakhisarai and Madhubani (8th–10th century)
• Jain Tirthankara statues from Nawada and Gaya (1,000+ years old)
• Shaivite sculptures from Gopalganj and Rohtas
• 1,300-year-old Vishnu statue from Bhagalpur
• Surya Dev statue from Jamui, early Pala period
This is not coincidence.
Bihar is not finding history, it is sitting on it.
