To develope a model of materials , I had to develope what I like to call " Chemical common sense" Every morning ,through the window of the bus, I look at everything and profile their chemical character. There is very few I get successfully yet. But it's a good lifestyle

I spent a long time understanding how a material behaves the way it does from the very electrons in it to it's microstructures. What I can say now is the dynamics of a material is very much like the dynamics of a city.Some things don't matter and a relatively few control a lot.
