@RehtseStudio Mentioned Square Enix store because they have exclusive merch, deals and game editions that I used to only get from them and they suddenly stopped shipping here. Gamestop also shipped here until very recently. Most dedicated game and tech shops are excluding us now.

@RehtseStudio Neither this nor the Steam Deck. More and more tech is being kept from us. Most places that used to ship here are now excluding us, Gamestop, Square Enix . Gamestop cancelled my last order when they changed shipping policy to exclude PR and didn't even tell me this had happened.

Ai-generated artwork officially is ineligible for copyright protection as the US Supreme Court declined to review a appeal case.

The court rules that artwork needs to have a human creator in order to be eligible.

Sandfall Interactive confirmed via El País:
• A limited number of pre-existing UE Marketplace 3D assets were used
• None were created with generative AI
• No GenAI assets are in the final game
• AI tools were briefly tested in 2022 for placeholder textures
• Those placeholders were removed within five days after launch and replaced with intended textures

Pretty disappointed in both @humble and especially in @GirlsWhoCode. Please teach girls how to code, don't push them into generative AI. That won't build their skills. Prioritize foundational programming skills and awaken their interest. "Tired of long days writing code"???
