@SteveThunderfan@NateDuncanNBA He all defense against Donavon Mitchell, and usefully against Luka. Cavs should want him cause they can't beat any team with Dort.
@ThunderNumbers Sure, but I wouldn't go into 2nd apron for guys 9, 10 and 11 on last playoff team. If Dort, Wiggins and Joe were top 8 on the roster, sure spend away. But for now it is better to get under 2nd apron and give those minutes to the higher upside new talent.
@ShaiGorgeous2@younreallywanme He isn't a good rebounder. He can make 3s but not some great shooter. He had 1 good shooting game in 7 playoff outings vs spurs.
@CoreyDeMoss A lot of okc fans and NBA front offices don't understand the playoff value of a hall of fame pg that holds up physically and can create real offense.
@CoreyDeMoss I would go so far as to let Kenrich walk and get Russ his vet minimum spot. Russ would have actually been a viable option getting us past the spurs this year after injuries took out our 3 and and 3 rd creators. Russ would unlock Chet like we havent seen.
@DavidCthrough Start by figuring out Joe not a top 10 guy on the team last year and projected not top 12 guy on roster this year. Than come with your bad takes.
@ThunderNumbers Not only is it good for okc, it is great for Joe. Thunder are doing right by their players, sending them to good fit contenders where they can actually play so they can benefit on their next contract. It's why around the league thunder organization are highly respected.
@CPUFXRnDMV@BobbyMarks42 If the thunder go into 2nd apron they are chosing to do it for 9th or 10 best player. Wouldn't that go against your point that teams are terrified of 2nd apron. I still think it is more likely they move Dort to go under 2nd apron .
@CPUFXRnDMV@BobbyMarks42 Dort 9th or 10 th best player playoff rotation this year. Thunder can get under 2nd apron bring back top 8 players and infuse 2 new lottery picks and 2 previously injured lottery picks. We are not in Celtic or Twolves situation. We are getting better phasing guys out.
@CPUFXRnDMV@BobbyMarks42 They just traded their 11th and 12th players for two lottery picks with way more upside. That is called being set up for years.
