Apple event is over. Overall thoughts? Underwhelming. Not deliberately dooming or hating. The iPhone Duo is exceedingly impractical, you can't use it one handed, if you notice every show was someone holding it with one hand and opening it with the other. They also only tapped the screen one handed once during the keynote and it was an icon near the right of the screen of the phone. If you want to access anything on the left 50% of the front screen one handed, forget about it. Impossible. The phone is wide and you lose all travel of your thumbs while holding. People will realize this is impractical as they use it. They'll probably still sell a lot, but if you want to buy, consider if this is actually a practical addition to your life. A phone is a tool meant to be quickly accessed, used, put away. If you want an iPad, get an iPad. This hybrid thing may not be as convenient for you as you anticipate.
