The best way to reduce your risk of an infection is to use a condom consistently and correctly with new or casual partners and to get tested.

The NHS provides free, confidential STI testing to detect any potential infections and prevent you from passing them on to others.

If you have questions about safer sex practices, STIs, how to find your local sexual health clinic or need mental health support, our volunteers, who all identify as LGBTQIA+, are trained to provide a confidential and non-judgmental listening service for our community.
