Today, at the Cultural Complex in Mushalpur, Baksa, I handed over Approval Letters to 211 Casual Workers of the Forest Department of the Government of BTR.

This regularisation will give them security of employment and allow them to avail various benefits, thus contributing to their overall wellbeing.

This initiative also reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring dignified and dependable livelihoods for our people. By recognising their contribution to strengthening forest conservation, we are not only supporting individual families but also reinforcing our shared responsibility toward sustainable development.

Today 211 casual Forest Dept. workers made permanent, a strong step towards preserving BTR’s rich forests and wildlife.

We are in discussion with Hon’ble CM @himantabiswa about wats to scale up conservation across national parks and forest zones, and more appointments will be coming soon.

Taking a major step forward in enhancing BTR’s justice and correctional infrastructure, I joined Hon’ble CM Dr. @himantabiswa dangoriya at the inauguration of the newly built District Jail in Baksa today.

The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Ministers Shri @UGBrahma and Shri @rupeshgowala, along with senior officials from the Government of Assam and BTR.

This modern facility will significantly strengthen BTR’s law enforcement capacity, in line with our commitment towards a reform-oriented correctional system.

In line with our mission to strengthen educational infrastructure in BTR, I was glad to inaugurate the new Administrative cum Academic Building of Bengtol College today.

Additionally, I also inaugurated the Bodoland Digital Literacy and Counselling Centre, an initiative of the Government of BTR in collaboration with NTPC, at the college campus.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to nurturing academic excellence, expanding digital access, and empowering the youth of BTR through quality education and holistic support.
