Children in Pully, Switzerland, learnt why we need to put #SoilFirst in a fun hands-on session for #WorldSoilDay2024. They made cute soil creatures, dipped their hands in soil, drew colourful chalk images and were very excited about everything soil does for us!

100+ people attended the congress for the conference on Soil and Climate organized by Earth Buddies in Madrid, Spain. The event was held in the Congress of Deputies, where Parliament meets.

Eight soil experts spoke on the urgency of addressing desertification and climate change.

Hugo Alfonso Morán Fernandez (@Moran_Fernandez), Secretary of State for the Environment, held the opening session and expressed that "any effort made to #SaveSoil will also benefit climate health — that is to say, our own health."
