Power down for Petrels! @MemorialUSci Student Tori Burt presented her study @PacificSeabirds’ 2023 annual conference in San Diego, CA, finding that turning off lights significantly reduced the number of Leach’s Storm Petrel strandings at a mass stranding site in Bay de Verde, NL.
