Indian authorities have demolished a mosque in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, following a court ruling. The case was filed by a member of a Hindu nationalist group.

Mosque authorities say the building dates back to 1911. Rights groups are questioning the legality of the decision.

ACB Telangana launched a raid on the house of Sunkari Narahari, Deputy Director of Lands and Survey, in Chatrinaka area of Old City, Hyderabad.

It’s been only hours and this is the amount of cash that has been found in his house.

As per sources, massive amount of gold and silver were also unearthed, along with various property documents. ACB is now searching houses of Sunkari Narahari’s family and friends.

We will know the final haul mostly by evening but looks like sir managed at least a few hundred crores.

@TelanganaACB raids underway at multiple properties linked to Mohan Naik, Engineer-in-Chief of the #Roads & #Buildings Department, including his residence in #Madhapur.

Sources say searches are being conducted at 11 locations following allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income.

Mohan Naik has long faced accusations of collecting commissions from contractors, favouring select firms in awarding contracts, and building a vast network of influence across the state.

Officials involved in the operation reportedly indicated that the scale of movable and immovable assets is substantial and that compiling details may take considerable time.

The searches are expected to continue through the day.

The brutal murder of Advocate Khaja Moinuddin near his residence at Masab Tank in the heart of Hyderabad has shocked the public conscience. Videos, CCTV visuals, and media reports available in the public domain indicate that the attack was carried out openly and with shocking audacity. A lawyer is not just an individual but a voice that stands for the constitutional rights of ordinary citizens. When such a person can be chased and murdered near his own home, it raises serious questions about law and order in the state.

If advocates themselves are not safe, what protection can ordinary citizens expect? When those who fight for justice inside courtrooms are attacked on the streets, it should not be seen as just another murder but as a direct attack on the Rule of Law. The government and police authorities must respond swiftly by conducting a thorough investigation from every possible angle, including any larger conspiracy, and ensure that all those responsible are arrested and prosecuted without delay.
Increasing attacks on advocates are dangerous signs for any democracy. Silencing voices that stand for justice weakens public faith in the legal system itself. Justice must be delivered to Advocate Khaja Moinuddin and his family. No matter how powerful the accused may be, they must be brought before the law. That alone will uphold the true spirit of justice and constitutional governance.

Hyderabad: Rs 100 Cr corruption!!!

HMWSSB General Manager would sell tankers at exorbitant price and earn Rs 50K per day (said ACB sources). He would charge Rs 5000 per tanker for apartments. Most of the tankers were unofficially booked.

ACB conducted simultaneous raids on properties of (HMWSSB) General Manager Kumar in connection with a disproportionate assets case. Searches are underway at nearly eight locations across Hyderabad and surrounding areas.

During the raids, ACB officials reportedly seized

1. ₹1.05 crore in cash
2. Huge quantity of gold and silver ornaments.
3. Property documents were also recovered during the searches.

According to preliminary information, Kumar is suspected to have amassed assets worth nearly ₹100 crore, including three flats in a gated community in Hyderabad, six open plots on the city outskirts, and around three acres of land in Nizamabad.

The searches are being carried out at Kumar’s residence in Mallapur, Secunderabad, and other associated premises. Officials are also expected to open bank lockers soon as part of the investigation. There is a possibility that raids may be extended to the houses of Kumar’s relatives.

ACB officials stated that the raids are still continuing and the total value of the seized assets is yet to be officially ascertained.
