नफ़रत, डर और अराजकता के माहौल में कोई भी देश आगे नहीं बढ़ सकता। शांति के बिना विकास सिर्फ़ एक जुमला है।

हमें और दीपकों की ज़रूरत है - जो झुकें नहीं, जो डरें नहीं, और जो पूरी ताक़त से संविधान के साथ खड़े रहें।

मामला हरियाणा के फरीदाबाद का है। आरोप है कि मुस्लिम लड़की खुशनुमा के घर में घुसकर पवन नामक युवक ने उसकी बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी।

पवन, खुशनुमा पर लगातार शादी का दबाव बना रहा था। इनकार करने पर गले-चेहरे पर चाकू मारकर हत्या कर दी।

सोचिये अभी इस जगह पर नाम उल्टा होता तो सोशल मीडिया से लेकर राजनैतिक गलियारों में कैसी हलचल होती? आरोपी को सख़्ती सज़ा दिलाने के लिए एहतिजाज़ तक होते। क्या मुस्लिम लड़कियों पर भी इंसाफ कि ऐसी गुहार लगाई जाएगी?
