Be the change you want to see in the world.

The #Pamir Mountains were created by crustal tectonics. These mountains now radiate from the Pamirs and most of them are more than 4,000 m in height. Because of this, the Pamir Mountains are known as 'The Roof of the World'. ⛰️

A professional military is responsible for protecting - not harming - the people it serves. The #Myanmar Armed Forces must end violence and work hard to restore the respect and faith of its people in the army. #MyanmarMilitaryCoup

The scourge of #Islamophobia, fuelled by hate speech and lack of knowledge and disinformation, is causing unimaginable suffering to the Muslim minorities around the world. #Islam is a religion of peace. We should strive to build a better understanding of Islam & Islamic percepts.

Prime Minister of Pakistan introduced a revolutionary program #KoiBhukaNaSoye (No one goes to bed hungry). The poor and labour classes will be provided free meal boxes twice a day through mobile trucks at various points in the twin cities. A step towards a welfare state. 👏

Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a strong advocate for the rights of women and said that no nation can prosper unless women are side by side with you. Women must be provided opportunities to contribute in the development of Pakistan. #InternationalWomensDay

Appreciation Tweet for a lovely & amazingly generous lady @Jemima_Khan. Due to your sincere efforts, the image of Pakistan is improving. Thank you for portraying a beautiful image of Pakistan and Pakistanis ♥️

The #PDM has nothing democratic in its entire make-up. It is led by the children of two notoriously corrupt thieves.

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

A big Thank you to the #SouthAfrican Cricket team for coming to Pakistan and playing outstanding series with #Pakistan #Cricket team. It is a way forward for Pakistan as it shows that Pakistan is a safe country & Pakistani's are not violent people. We strive against terrorism!

Reiterating a cliché here but it’s important: Save Energy. In our country, where electricity supply is intermittent and already a luxury, we must be extra mindful & turn off lights & appliances when not in use. Simply, unplug your charger when your phone is fully charged.

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

Please reconsider piling your plates with excess food the next time you’re at a #wedding or #party. Currently, 40% of the food in Pakistan goes to waste while 43% of our population is considered food insecure. Food waste is also a big contributor to climate change.

@TazzeemAli It's a huge drawback from our side. We just don't have the common sense of appreciating the people who are with us. Doesn't matter if they are famous or not. We should have the courage to respect one another without feeling envious or jealous.

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

@TazzeemAli See, the problem with us is that we don't appreciate our living heroes. We are comfortable with our past and we are used to give references of our past. People not knowing who Ali Sadpara is, shows us that we only appreciate, respect and care about people when they are gone.

The most important thing in the world is #Respect. Respect each other, their feelings, religion, profession, caste, nation, social status, family, uniqueness, weirdness. Have your own boundaries and limitations but respect others perspective as well.

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

Please stop inculcating #sectarian/religious hatred in your children. A teenager killed a man just because he belonged to a different religion. Every parent must keep a check on his children, his environment, his company. Every human has the right to practice his own religion.

People need to understand that truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than lots of money. It's really important to have a rich heart to help others. Kindness makes you the most beautiful person no matter what you look like. - #BillGates

Summing up the outcome of 2 decades long war is LOSS. The United States should learn from the history of Afghanistan and understand that escalating the war will have no particular impact on the outcome.

Everyone has the right to express his opinion regardless of his profession & background. Just because Mr. #ShoaibAkhtar (A Great Cricketer) showed his disliking towards the #PSL6 anthem, everyone has started to criticize him. Hard work of everyone behind the song is appreciated.

Principles for making Pakistan a Welfare state:-
- Character Building
- Differentiating between the good and the bad
- Public cleanliness and personal hygiene
- Corruption is a crime
- Honesty
- Correcting the value system #ImranKhan #Pakistan

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

Prime Minister #ImranKhan has rightly said that Pakistan has drifted quite far from the ideals on which it was made. Scholars have an important responsibility on their shoulders towards the upbringing of nation. They must instil correct moral values in our people.

[Syeda Masooma Haider @SyedaMasoomaHa1]

We must inculcate compassion for #animals in our people. The moral progress of a nation is judged by the way its animals are treated. #Killing animals is a crime! People who are cruel towards animals can never be of good character.
