I'm so excited for the future
Working in a team
Scaling to the fuckin skies
Locking in on content creation
Excited to embrace all the problems that come along the way
My prospect told me to shut the fuck up
And it made me realize I talk way too much on sales calls.
Unintentionally interrupting prospects before they're done making their point
This is a habit I have actively been working to break
Just shut the fuck up and let the prospect talk
sometimes the more direct your ad is, the better
You can literally just say “If you’ve been looking to start cold email for your marketing agency, we’ll [insert offer]”
You have to understand, even though Meta is not intent based, your ads WILL find the right people at the right time
And you need to account for these product aware people. Because there’s lots of them.
“How long should my VSL be”
Your VSL can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 50 minutes
It literally just all comes down to who you’re selling to
Rule Of Thumb:
→ Selling to the general public? Long form VSLs work better since you’re dealing with a skeptical buyer
→ Selling to richer people? Short form VSLs work better. These people value their time and want to make decisions. Get to the point and deliver the right information.
The VSL should be as short or as long as it takes to make the outcomes you promise feel inevitable as a result of working with you
Your sales should DIRECTLY impact the way your marketing is conducted
For example: If there’s one specific objection you’re constantly being bombarded with
→ Turn that into an ad angle
→Turn that into a breakout video on your confirmation page
→ Turn that into an email as part of your pre-call process
This is how you fine tune your acquistion system, whether that’s cold email, paid ads, or organic.
Each sales call feeds back into the system and makes it better over time.
It is 11PM on a Sunday and I am batching all of next week’s content
→ 21 X posts
→ 21 LinkedIn Posts
→ 1 Youtube Video
→ 5-7 Instagram Posts
You need to BATCH content in ONE sitting
That is by far the best thing you can do in terms of productivity
Just bang out all of your content in one day and spend the rest of the week on more direct revenue driven actions
Looking for a video editor who can edit batches of 15-20 ad creatives at a time
Simple cutting footage, adding captions, sound effects, etc
NO AGENCIES.
Comment below or shoot me a DM with your portfolio (must have experience with ad creatives)
Selling is nothing more than removing reasons to say no, ONE at a time
If a prospect is sitting on a call with you, they’ve already indicated that they want what you sell
They're just sitting on a stack of unanswered questions
Your entire job is to answer their questions in a way that makes saying yes the obvious choice.
Might be a gross oversimplification of sales, but that really is all there is to it.

people overcomplicate ads too much
lookalike audiences
retargeting campaigns
low ticket funnels
All you need is:
→ A solid cold traffic offer with a defined buyer, defined outcome, defined timeframe, and a risk reversal

→ A VSL Funnel with backend selling systems
→ A way to keep track of metrics and conduct bottleneck analysis
that's IT
I just saw a Loom video I recorded for a client a year ago
I was spouting straight BULLSHIT about ads
Shook my head in disappointment.
And that’s how it should be
If you look at yourself from a year ago, and don’t notice any significant changes, you’re doing it wrong
