And yet another example of how #CoPilot/#AI just doesn't work. Biome says the import is for a type so it should be imported as type, not regularly. VS Code suggests letting CoPilot fix it. And yeah, it really can't. It thinks removing the whole import is the fix.

It breaks everything, obviously.This is why actual analyzers like SonarLint, Roslyn, Biome, eslint, and so on can actually do their job and CoPilot can't - they actually KNOW what the code does. CoPilot just guesses. I've tried it now for many things and it is useless for me.

@GergelyOrosz @EngGuidebook This is also why I hated a course on discrete maths at one time. They used a book which had Silly-Rabbit and whatnot and they were figuring out who stole the turnips or something and then we wrote that in the language of logic. Painful.

This is the best example I've found yet of how derivative AI 'art' is. The person who generated the image on the left asked Midjourney to generate 'an average woman of Afghanistan'. It produced an almost carbon copy of the 1984 photo of Sharbat Gula, taken by Steve McCurry. 1/

@devlead @firstdrafthell @James_M_South I think it might be the difference between CS and Sw Engineering degree. I see so many go for CS not realizing what the second word means and thinking it’ll teach them real world skills and get them productive. It often does not, because science vs engineering.

@susie_dent Could you give the source for this? Since not a single Finn I’ve asked (including myself) has ever heard of this word, nor does it even make any sense in Finnish.

It would more like mean “jumping to masturbate with a pillow” if someone was to deduce the meaning.
