Been watching this anime called Killed Again Mr. Detective and I have to say... it's not good narratively.

The main protagonist is more or less useless and gets killed every other episode. That is the main premise yes but think about this. In a detective show, the detective is killed by the killer and when they resurrect, they only need a few moments to solve the mystery. Taking the mystery out of the mystery.

Not only that, but in one episode, everyone witnesses the main protag dead WITH HIS HEAD CUT OFF! And the very next day he's fine and NO ONE IS QUESTIONING THAT?! The writing and premise are horrible. There are no stakes, and worse, it mocks detective genres with its "being the victim of the murder" trope which takes everything exciting away all at once when dying isn't even an issue since you come back knowing everything. They aren't a ghost or dead, they literally rise up like a phoenix.

Seriously, what are the positives of this anime/manga?

1. Was it in game
2. Was it while the game was in the background
3. Why can't they provide the clip or log for evidence

It becomes messy without info because then it becomes speculation and horrible communication between player and company.

@vivilotl What he said was rude, but FFXIV isn't even in the background. So, I'm guessing it wasn't this that got him banned in the game.

You have bad blood with him, so I understand but being under the FFXIV category on a streaming platform shouldn't warrant a ban in game.

The thing may have ruined both Dante's and Vergil's characters, but the games will always remind you where it all started.
