Sort of a disappointing carrot yield from the garden this year, but I’m also not that sad because I tend to not love the flavor of the white/yellow ones. All purple next year.

Pickled carrots over the weekend with garlic, caraway, and dill! Should be excellent for roasting during the holidays.

It was fantastic to see a #nokings rally today out where I'm at in an exurb of Seattle. Well-organized, super respectful of the surrounding businesses, and keeping an eye on safety. We're not messing around. Get your ballots in, vote! No kings!

Easy settings with lots of roads and challenges, FH6 has been really enjoyable for me and is pretty much my go-to unwind at the moment.

@SQLGene Oh it was right there

Hopefully this isn't what we mean in 25 years by "human in the loop"
That goop looks uncomfortable

I’m well into the Apple ecosystem but I also keep everything a good while (MacBookair M1, iPhone 13, watch ultra 2, iPad Air gen4). I’m so curious if tomorrow’s event will successfully better reach the “home stuff” segment or if it’ll be another “eh” moment.

@sandertenbrinke @madskristensen Yes, the .NET library behind SSDT and the other declarative dev tooling focuses on SQL Server/Azure SQL

[Drew Skwiers-Koballa @SysAdminDrew]

@ale_poy @madskristensen No changes planned for SSIS projects (dtproj), sorry.

The cats out of the bag - the long awaited arrival of the SDK for SQL projects in Visual Studio is coming *soon*. More docs and info in the works, but meanwhile you can connect with us at https://t.co/WHGdrsFV74

[Mads Kristensen @madskristensen]

For all the Visual Studio users out there using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT): you'll be able to use the SDK-style project file format for your SSDT projects with all its benefits.

Coming soon...

It took too long for me to regularly use 2 entries in the VS Code explorer context menu that make working in the terminal more efficient
1️⃣"open in integrated terminal" (navigate quickly to a deeply nested folder)
2️⃣"copy relative path" (get a specific path right the first time)

The sun rises on a new week, and we’ll be supervising from the window.

[Drew Skwiers-Koballa @SysAdminDrew]

“Bonded pair” is such a funny expression for dogs to indicate their codependence and willingness to shove one another out of the precious sunshine.
(Yes, paws on the window, it’s never clean)

Ezi Magbegor preseason 22 now 12
Heck yes

Before the WNBA resumes Thursday, we update our ranking of the 25 best players in the league. No. 1 was no debate. But where do Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark rank? Dearica Hamby, Kayla McBride and Chennedy Carter also break in.

@cloudsider @madskristensen where do you like to edit your SQL?

[Drew Skwiers-Koballa @SysAdminDrew]

@pshore73 tbh there's a cougar around so I had a brief panic before going for the phone making sure I got the animal id right

[Drew Skwiers-Koballa @SysAdminDrew]

I was working around the fire pit in the back backyard when a rabbit startled me by hurtling up the hill towards the house (and me). Turns out it was being chased by a bobcat that gave up when it noticed me.

Filmed a little something in the studios yesterday during #vslive! Can’t wait for folks to see what’s in the pipeline.
