This is a variety of Echinacea (also known as coneflower) I’ve always found the cone interesting, apparently the person who named it felt the same, as Echinacea means sea urchin.

The chives are back! Part of the allium family, like shallots, these are beautiful and delicious. The grass is great with sour cream and the flowers themselves are decorative and oniony for a salad!

It’s frosty out today! We had our next two self watering baskets ready to go in, but the frost has left the soil in the old baskets solid!

@fobs_seaford @ACoRPOffice We’re getting them from Amazon “Lechuza Cottage Balconera”. We picked up a pair last year to trial them and the worked really well, particularly given they’re only £30 each.
