1/ As a former journalist and a witness of the 721 incident, I would like to make a few clarifications in response to the recent remark made by Chan Tin Chu, senior superintendent of Police (Crime NTN HQ), regarding the 721 incident in #HongKong:
All political parties in #Taiwan strongly condemn China’s decision to bypass #HongKong’s legal process & push for the passage of today’s national security law resolution. Taiwan’s government & people are united in our support for Hong Kong & universal democratic values.
Breaking: @DominicRaab tells China that unless it suspends plans for new security laws in Hong Kong, the UK will give greater visa rights to 300,000+ British National (Overseas) passport holders. Current right to 6 mths in Britain without visa would be increased to 12 mths.
China's proposed national security law for Hong Kong is in direct conflict with its obligations under the Joint Declaration. If enacted, this law would violate Hong Kong’s autonomy and freedoms. UK and 🇺🇸🇦🇺🇨🇦 are deeply concerned.

Beijing has blocked @USUN call for a Security Council meeting on#HongKong. @UN member states should push back & actually stand for human rights. @USAmbUN must keep the pressure on #China so Beijing can’t profit from breaking the Sino-UK Joint Declaration. 加油!#StandwithHongKong
To Hong Kong freedom loving people, you should expect both sanctions against evildoers in both China and Hong Kong + revocation of the Hong Kong Policy Act in @SecPompeo's recommendations. Thank you Sec. Pompeo for #StandWithHongKong!
It’s the first school day after months of staying at home due to the coronavirus outbreak, but students have been arrested on the way to school. It’s really ridiculous. Dear World, please help our kids #SOSHK This is a Humanitarian Crisis. #527
