@arvalis@AfterrDarkLeo@BoundaryBreak This argument is flawed because Star Fox fans do show up for the games. That's why we know the last few are awful. You're blaming the fans and not the terrible quality of the games they've been releasing since 64. Maybe those games would've sold better if they were actually good?
@MonadoMax I watched the video and I think everyone agrees with your stance. Still, this is 100% not Nintendo's call. If it were why would Indy be the only one on cart? The developers get a bigger profit margin by having a code in box. Machine Games chose to take a hit for Indy.
The reason why devs like Bethesda and 2K opt for code in a box is because it's the cheapest option of the 3 (CIB, Key, Real Cart) and they're just plain greedy.
@MonadoMax It comes off as ragebait because of the title of the video. Nintendo is publishing partner to Bethesda but obviously they aren't choosing how their games are being released. That decision is up to the individual devs such as Machine Games choosing to put Indy on a real cart.
@Noc79141130@Nintendeal It was Ubisoft that stated it was a speed issue for their open world games. Honestly that does make sense. For FF7 it's a size issue since the games are like 100+ gb
@penspenspens412@Wario64 biggest difference could be 4k support on S2 docked (not confirmed but this could help the pixel scaling) and 1080p native in handheld compared to the S1 at 720p in handheld. If youβve played S1 games on S2 in handheld that havent had an update they end up stretched and blurry
@SpoiledWar@SkywardWing Thats not the reason cause the pricing is the same on Xbox. Also the games could never be complete on cart because theyβre each over 100gb in size.
@chadodoy@Wario64 there isnβt a native update but it runs at an unlocked framerate so Switch 2 runs it at a mostly smooth 60fps which is a HUGE improvement over the base Switch performance
@MonsterZeroLITE @painkirax3@_Captain_Duck Nah, itβs fine. It piques your interest in a bunch of series and youβre able to pick which one you wanna watch afterward. Itβs only spoilers to you cause you know the lore of the other series. To a newbie itβs fine. Itβs an awesome sampling of the early Heisei riders
@MonsterZeroLITE @painkirax3@_Captain_Duck You say that but my first KR was Decade when it was airing and I loved it. Went through and watched all the Heisei rider shows afterwards. I think it was a great place to start because you get a little preview of a bunch of riders so you can watch the ones that interest you next.
@AngelDoll77@MorrowindThe Yeah, it was an inspired choice to go with a western coded story (hero is a force of nature who wanders into town and changes their lives forever). It works really well as a standalone narrative that anyone can enjoy
